Disabled American Veterans announce Jan-Feb office hours

PORT ANGELES — The Disabled American Veterans Chapter 5 will open its Port Angeles office from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays in January and February, on a trial basis.

The office, located in the Port Angeles Senior and Community Center, 328 E. Seventh St., will continue to open from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays as well.

The DAV assists veterans, widows, widowers, active duty military personnel and their dependents to complete the paperwork necessary to apply for services from the U.S. Veterans Administration.

The chapter also has offices at the Serenity House, 598 W. Washington St, Sequim and at the Port Townsend Community Center, 620 Tyler St., Port Townsend.

Both offices are open from 9 a.m. to p.m. on Wednesdays.
