The Kaye Partial Weight-Bearing Walking Frame, model SW1, is a child's walker or standing frame designed for use by children who have a wide range of disabilities due to neuropathy, including postural control, interlimb coordination, and steady state and reactive balance. The Kaye Walking Frame supports the user in the upright, walking, or partial weight-bearing position using a combination of an overhead suspension frame, a manual winch, a harness, removable handlebars, and swivel casters with directional locks and stationary brakes. The manual winch facilitates lifting the user between the sitting and walking positions. The adjustable, circumferential harness supports the user around the pelvis, trunk, and thighs; circumferential thigh straps help hold the harness in position. The handgrips provide a grasping point for additional stability. The casters can be locked in a stationary position for use with a treadmill, or can be unlocked and allowed to swivel for use over level ground. The Kaye Walking Frame is suited for small users. The frame adjusts both in width and height. At its narrowest width, it can pass through a 17 inch doorway. DIMENSIONS (HxW): 55 to 66 inches x 26.5 to 31 inches wide. CAPACITY: Maximum of 100 pounds. WEIGHT: 25 pounds.
