Milk Jug Ball Catcher

--- "DO IT YOURSELF" ENTRY ------- PURPOSE: 1. Allow individuals with limited bilateral hand coordination to participate in ball catching activity.

MATERIALS USED: 2 empty plastic milk jugs or laundry detergent bottles.
Best-Buy Scissors.
Craft Tape Pack - 1" Bright Colors.
Markers.
Newspaper.

PREPPARATION/MEASUREMENTS:
1.Have an adult help you cut the bottoms off the bottles. Once this is done, wash the bottles well and leave them out to dry.
2.Decorate the outside of the bottles with craft tape and markers. Be sure to use tape to cover the edge!
3.Make a simple ball out of crumpled-up newspaper. Wrap the ball in craft tape.
4. Use the ball catchers to toss and catch the newspaper ball.
