Free Classes to Be Offered for Families and Friends of Adults With Mental Illness

Nov. 10—National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Lewis County will soon begin offering educational classes for families, partners and friends of adults living with mental illness.

The course, called NAMI Family-to-Family, is designed to help folks support loved ones with mental illness while maintaining their own wellbeing. Eight sessions will include information on schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression and other mental illnesses.

Classes will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays beginning Nov. 17 at the NAMI Lewis Office, 1641 Kresky Ave., Suite 3. To register for the free program, contact namilewiscountywa@gmail.com or call 360-880-8070.
