I was here twice in one week. Both time I walked in shortly after they opened, my total wait time was about 20-30, everyone was helpful and friendly. I'm pleased with the service.

you will never get food stamps waiting on these people they dont do anything i have been waiting on foodstamps for 6 months now they give you the run around i wish i never moved to this county because this office is really the worst

This place is not doing there job. They failed to release my moms food stamp money. There for she could not get food. Thanks for her worry and not know where her next meal will be cooking from!

got a letter a day before my food stamps. date
The worker closed my case for a letter that did not concern me
letter dated 8/29/2014 case closed. Received letter 09/10/2014
I called the worker plenty of times.Left messages
Closed my case,now I HAVE TO REAPPLY.

For several months now ,I've gone to both Target and Walmart stores to use the card to purchase food ,and every time the card doesn't work. Even when they type in the numbers they don't work . Yet I go to Wegman's and again the swipe part of the card doesn't work but when they type in the number it works. Why is that? The swipe part of the card is not scratched in any way yet when I swipe at three major retailers the card does not work. Until this day, EBT in Maryland has not fixed the problem. What's the point in having this card if it doesn't work properly? It's really a shame that you can't solve this issue. Your service to this state of Maryland in Howard County is unacceptable. Changes needs to be made asap or risk losing all of your clients who are using these primitive cards. Hail Hasbro!

Let's start with calling the office- NO answer ever. If you have luck and or someone finally picks up- they act as if your bothering them.
Front desk staff- SUCK, their attitudes SUCK,The way they talk to people is RUDE!
The wait time EVEN when you have an appointment is RIDICULOUS all to be told they can't help you.

the worst customer service ive experienced by far.No one ever answers the phone from the case workers to the supervisor. So eager to close anyones case before returning phone calls and voicemails.my child has missed her surgery yet again due the lack of communication in this office. I've even come in this facility requesting to see my case worker and was denied every time only to receive inadequate information from the people at the front desk, who also have the worst attitudes ever and should not be interacting with clients. I would be ashamed to have Ms.Lincoln in the forefront representing my company. Most people apply because they really need the help it just sucks that others make it difficult for us to receive it.

FOOD STAMPS SHOULD GO TO AMERICANS IN THE UNITED STATES. NOT FROM OTHER COUNTRIES THAT COME HERE TO TAKE AWAY OUR JOBS AND ASSISTANCE. THEY SHOULD NOT BE ELIGIBLE AND RETURNED TO THEIR COUNTRY.
YOU SHOULD AUDIT WHO APPLIES FOOD STAMPS. THEY ARE PEOPLE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES. IF I GO TO THERE COUNTRY, I GET KILLED TO APPLY FOR A JOB OR ASSISTANCE.
PLEASE YOU HAVE BEEN HERE LONG ENOUGH. NOW RETURN TO YOUR COUNTRY AND LET US GET THE JOBS. GO HOME.

My case was closed for food stamps because they say I did not recertify. I was sick and could not do the recertification by Jan. 20th as requested. I called the number on the request letter and was told to take it too the Columbia office right away. I had someone to hand deliver the letter on January 22 and received a receipt but still I received a letter dated February 27 stating that my food stamps would end on February 28th. It is now March 16th and I have no food stamps and no food. What are we to do? Poor people in Howard County can't seem to get help or a break of any kind.

This place is horrible. They are the worse. They send redetermination letter to show proof of income and bills ect.Turn in everything I am suppose to, to find out they have all my updated info in the computer but never process my case. Cut my foodstamps off. I called over, over, and over again. On the letter they give you the case worker name and number to call if there are any concerns. Left a messages to see why I didnt get my benefits, so I decided to take a trip to the office, to only find out they have all my information updated but never even looked at nothing. Also, they added more income to the income I already get(added up the numbers wrong) How is that possible? when they see and have proof of my paystubs dates, hours, and amount. these people dont care, all they are there for is a pay check cause if they cared they wouldnt do things they do. Not to mention a previsous issue I had is I turn in all information then they misplaced it so had to resubmitt everything again which d

this department is the worst ever. No answer to 100+ phone calls and messages. Case got closed for no reason. Mails are received 2-3 weeks later from what is dated in letter. this is sick.
