Mental health clinic opens new Sartell location

St. Cloud Times - 3/5/2017

March 05--SARTELL -- CentraCare Health recently opened a new location for mental health services. St. Cloud Hospital Behavioral Health Clinic -- Sartell will serve children and adults who need individual, family and group therapy.

The clinic will be able to treat common conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, reactions to trauma and domestic violence and behavioral problems. The clinic includes mental health providers moved from other locations in CentraCare.

The clinic is located at 166-19th St. South, Suite 201 in Sartell. Patients can call 656-7047 to make an appointment.

The clinic is located across the hall from the recently-created Central Minnesota Child Advocacy Center. The proximity will make it easy for advocates to refer children and families for treatment, showing them the clinic and possibly meeting their future counselor before their first appointment. Patients are more likely to follow up on recommended therapy if those steps are taken.

The center serves children in situations that may involve child abuse. It is a community partnership of law enforcement, mental and physical health providers, advocacy organizations and the Stearns County attorney.
